كان أهل الحي يعرفونه باسم أبو سمير ولكننا لم نكن لنعرف الكثير عنه إذ انتقل مؤخراً ليعيش في هذا الحي الشعبي مع زوجته التي ـ وبرغم ما بان عليها من فقر وعوز ـ كانت تبدو مقتنعة بأن الحياة أعطتها ما فيه الكثير، فهي باختصار زوجة أبا سمير..، لم نره يوماً يذهب لعمل ولم نعرف كيف استطاع أن يتدبر أموره... لم يكن لأبي سمير أطفال.. غالباً ما كنت أراه عندما…
